Rikshal Dayal, a 30-year-old entrepreneur from Wailevu, Labasa, recently made headlines by opening his own law firm, Rikshal Dayal Lawyers, on Thursday in Labasa Town. This ambitious step highlights that age should not be a barrier to pursuing one’s entrepreneurial dream.
After investing $10,000 to establish his office at Savilla House on Jaduram Street, Mr. Dayal has taken a significant leap forward in his career. He is the first lawyer in his family and graduated with a Bachelor of Law from the University of the South Pacific in 2019. For six years, he honed his skills working for Sarju Prasad Esquire, learning valuable lessons that he is now eager to apply in his own practice.
Mr. Dayal expressed his aspiration to provide top-notch legal services to his community, despite the competitive landscape of law firms in the area. He believes that with the right preparation and dedication, he can succeed. “While many people are saying that there is no job in Labasa, I encourage them to start their own business and put their skills and talent into use,” he stated.
He is optimistic about Labasa’s growth and sees a need for new entrepreneurs, emphasizing that taking risks is part of any business endeavor. Moreover, he credited his family, wife, and in-laws for their support in this venture.
Rikshal Dayal Lawyers will operate from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, and Saturday from 8:30 am to 12 pm, beginning with one administration staff member.
Overall, Mr. Dayal’s story serves as an inspiring example of how determination and the pursuit of one’s passion can yield positive outcomes. His initiative could also motivate others in the community to embark on their entrepreneurial journeys, contributing to the local economy’s growth.
In conclusion, Rikshal Dayal’s entry into the legal field at a young age underscores the potential to chase dreams irrespective of age, bolstering hope for future entrepreneurs in Labasa.
