The firm officially opened its doors on Thursday, operating from Savilla House on Jaduram Street, shop number 14. Mr. Dayal invested $10,000 to establish his practice.

A graduate of the University of the South Pacific with a Bachelor of Law in 2019, Mr. Dayal spent the last six years honing his skills at Sarju Prasad Esquire. “As the first lawyer in my family, it has always been my dream to start my own law firm and serve my community,” he expressed. Despite being aware of the challenges posed by a competitive legal landscape, he is confident in his ability to deliver top-notch services.

Acknowledging the inherent risks of starting a business, Mr. Dayal remarked, “No matter what kind of business we do, there will always be risk involved, and I am fully prepared for it.” He also encouraged his fellow residents of Labasa, who may be feeling discouraged by the job market, to explore entrepreneurship and utilize their skills effectively.

Mr. Dayal observed the rapid growth of Labasa Town and emphasized the need for new business ventures to support this development. He expressed gratitude to his family, wife, and in-laws for their unwavering support in setting up the business.

Rikshal Dayal Lawyers will be open weekdays from 8 am to 4:30 pm and Saturdays from 8:30 am to 12 pm, and will initially operate with one administrative staff member.

This inspiring story illustrates how ambition and hard work can lead to success, regardless of age. Mr. Dayal’s determination to serve his community and foster local entrepreneurship is a positive message in today’s challenging economic climate, encouraging others to pursue their dreams and contribute to the growth of their hometown.

In summary, Mr. Dayal’s journey not only highlights his personal achievement but also serves as an encouragement for young entrepreneurs in Labasa and beyond, illustrating that age is not a barrier to starting a successful business and making a meaningful impact in the community.
