Rikshal Dayal, a 30-year-old entrepreneur, has taken an inspirational step by launching his own law firm, Rikshal Dayal Lawyers, in Labasa Town on Thursday. Located at Savilla House on Jaduram Street, Mr. Dayal invested $10,000 into setting up his office, marking a significant achievement in his journey as the first lawyer in his family.
Having graduated with a Bachelor of Law from the University of the South Pacific in 2019, Mr. Dayal gained valuable experience during his six years working with Sarju Prasad Esquire. His dream of serving his hometown motivated him to establish his firm despite the competitive legal environment. “I believe I have the ability to provide the best service,” he stated, expressing confidence in his skills.
Acknowledging the inherent risks of starting a business, Mr. Dayal remains optimistic. He encourages others in Labasa, where job opportunities are perceived to be lacking, to leverage their own skills and talents to forge their paths. He noted the town’s rapid growth and expressed a need for fresh entrepreneurial ventures to support that development.
Mr. Dayal also expressed gratitude to his family, wife, and in-laws for their support in launching the business. The firm plans to operate from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, and Saturday from 8:30 AM to 12 PM, with one administrative staff member assisting him.
This story sends a positive message about the power of determination and the potential for success in entrepreneurship, no matter the age or external circumstances. Mr. Dayal’s venture serves as a beacon of hope for aspiring business owners in Labasa, showing that with passion and perseverance, one can make a significant impact in their community.
In summary, Rikshal Dayal’s new law firm embodies the spirit of entrepreneurship, encouraging others to pursue their dreams and contribute to the growth of their local economy.
