Located at Savilla House on Jaduram Street, the firm officially launched on Thursday, representing a significant achievement for Dayal, who is the first lawyer in his family.
After completing his Bachelor of Law degree from the University of the South Pacific in 2019, Dayal spent six years honing his skills at Sarju Prasad Esquire. His dream of establishing a law firm to serve his hometown community has now come to fruition, with an initial investment of $10,000 to outfit his office.
Mr. Dayal acknowledges the competitive nature of the legal field but remains confident in his ability to offer top-notch services to his clients. He emphasizes that while there are inherent risks in starting a business, he is ready to face them head-on. Additionally, he encourages others in Labasa, where job opportunities may seem limited, to leverage their skills and start their own businesses as well.

The new law office will operate Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, and on Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 12 PM, with one administrative staff member assisting him.
