Rikshal Dayal, a 30-year-old entrepreneur from Wailevu, Labasa, has launched his own law firm, Rikshal Dayal Lawyers, marking a significant milestone in his career. His firm opened on a Thursday located at Savilla House on Jaduram Street, with Mr. Dayal investing $10,000 to establish the office.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Law from the University of the South Pacific in 2019, Mr. Dayal spent six years gaining experience at Sarju Prasad Esquire before pursuing his dream of becoming a business owner. As the first lawyer in his family, he expressed a strong desire to serve the community in his hometown.
Despite acknowledging the competitive nature of the legal field, Mr. Dayal is confident in his skills and his ability to provide exceptional service. He believes that entrepreneurship is a viable path, encouraging others to utilize their talents and start their own businesses, especially in a rapidly developing Labasa Town.
The office will operate Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 4:30 pm, and Saturday from 8:30 am to 12 pm. Mr. Dayal expressed gratitude to his family and in-laws for their support in launching his venture.
