Rikshal Dayal from Wailevu, Labasa, sets an inspiring example by emphasizing that there is no age limit when it comes to starting a business. At just 30 years old, Mr. Dayal recently launched his own law firm, Rikshal Dayal Lawyers, located at Savilla House on Jaduram Street in Labasa Town. He invested $10,000 to establish his practice.

After earning a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of the South Pacific in 2019, Mr. Dayal gained valuable experience over six years working under lawyer Sarju Prasad at Sarju Prasad Esquire. As the first lawyer in his family, he always aspired to create his own firm to cater to the legal needs of his community.

Despite being aware of the competitive landscape in the legal sector, Mr. Dayal remains confident in his ability to deliver quality service. He acknowledges the inherent risks involved in business but feels well-prepared to face them. He also urges others in Labasa, where job opportunities may seem limited, to consider entrepreneurship and utilize their skills and talents.

Mr. Dayal believes that Labasa Town is evolving rapidly and requires new entrepreneurs to contribute to its growth. He expressed gratitude to his family, wife, and in-laws for their support in launching his business. His office will operate from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm and Saturday from 8:30 am to 12 pm, initially employing one administrative staff member.

This story serves as a beacon of hope for aspiring entrepreneurs, highlighting how determination and a clear vision can lead to the establishment of successful ventures in one’s community. Mr. Dayal’s journey is a reminder that with courage and the right support, anyone can turn their dreams into reality.
