Two men in their twenties have been charged and appeared in court due to their suspected involvement in an aggravated robbery that took place in Tamavua last month. The accused, aged 27 and 29, allegedly broke into the residence of a 46-year-old man on October 30, where they reportedly stole cash, a mobile phone, and various other items before escaping the scene.
After their arrest last week, the individuals were charged with aggravated robbery and were brought before the Suva Magistrates Court on Monday, November 4. They have been remanded in custody and are scheduled to appear again on November 18.
This incident highlights the ongoing challenges faced by communities regarding safety and security.
