Aanvi Prasad’s dedication and hard work have brought her remarkable success as one of the top scorers in the 2024 Fiji Eighth Year Examination. The student from Lautoka Central Primary School achieved an impressive score of 491 out of 500 marks. Reflecting on her journey, she expressed how her sacrifices and commitment to her studies have truly paid off.

“Achieving the highest score was my dream, and I sacrificed for it,” Aanvi noted. She emphasized the importance of setting timetables and maintaining a strong focus on her educational goals. Despite facing discouragement from peers who believed it was beyond her reach, she remained resolute, often reminding her parents of her aspirations for academic excellence.

Her father, Ronil Prasad, shared in the pride of her accomplishment, acknowledging the investment in her education that has clearly paid dividends. “I am a proud dad. The achievement of our daughter is a testament to our commitment to her education,” he said.

Looking ahead, Aanvi plans to enroll in Natabua High School next year, aiming to continue her academic success. Remarkably, she shares her top position with Viola Ravutubananitu from Tagitagi Sangam School in Ba, who also scored 491 marks.
