Yogesh Karan, the Permanent Secretary for Multi-Ethnic Affairs and the Sugar Industry, has officially announced his resignation, effective November 1, 2024.
Public Service Commission Chairman Luka Rokovada confirmed the resignation, stating that Karan plans to pursue a career in national and international development with an international organization based in Fiji.
With over 20 years of service in senior roles within the Fijian Government, Karan’s experience includes positions as High Commissioner to India, Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister, and Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and the Sugar Industry.
