The Acting Education Minister, Alitia Bainivalu, along with Assistant Minister Iliesa Vanawalu, extended their best wishes to all Year 8 students as they begin their External Examinations today.
Minister Bainivalu acknowledged that exam preparations can evoke a mix of emotions, including excitement and anticipation. She encouraged Year 8 students to trust in their studies and reminded them that the examination is merely one aspect of their educational journey.
Additionally, the Acting Minister urged parents, guardians, and teachers to provide the necessary support to help students maintain focus throughout the examination period.
This year, a total of 19,359 Year 8 students are set to participate in the “Fiji Year 8 Examination,” which will take place across 717 centers nationwide from today until Thursday, September 26. This includes the addition of two new exam centers.
