The Yatule Resort and Spa on Natadola Beach is ready to reopen on Monday after undergoing a $10 million renovation. Tourism Fiji officials, who recently toured the updated facility, praised the changes made to the resort.
Brent Hill, the CEO of Tourism Fiji, commended the transformation led by managing director Damen Goundar and his team, expressing enthusiasm for the official inauguration on September 9. Hill noted that such investments highlight the bright prospects for Fiji’s tourism sector, appealing to both local and international investors.
He emphasized that these investments not only create jobs but also stimulate growth in related industries, showcasing the confidence investors have in Fiji’s tourism potential.
Goundar shared that the resort is fully booked for September and is eagerly preparing to host the event ‘Tourism Share: A Collaborative Evening.’ This event will bring together significant figures from the tourism sector, including Deputy Prime Ministers and key ministers, to discuss important trends and opportunities within the industry.
Staff members, who were temporarily assigned to other properties during the renovation, are set to return in anticipation of the reopening.
