A woman has been taken into custody for allegedly operating a liquor-selling business without a license in Tacirua. Officers from the Valelevu Police Station carried out a raid last night at a shop suspected of illegal liquor sales, during which they confiscated over 100 cans and bottles of alcohol. The 24-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and is currently being held as investigations proceed. Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, Livai Driu, stated that such illegal activities often lead to other crimes, and their operations aim to disrupt these unlawful markets.
