A woman is in police custody following her arrest for allegedly selling liquor without a license in Tacirua. Officers from the Valelevu Police Station conducted a raid at a shop last night, where they found and seized over 100 cans and bottles of alcohol. The 24-year-old woman was taken into custody, and investigations are ongoing. Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations Livai Driu noted that illegal liquor sales can lead to further criminal activities, and police operations aim to disrupt these unlawful markets.
