Weather Watch: Will It Disrupt Year 13 Exams?

The Ministry of Education is closely observing the current weather conditions and their possible effects on the Year 13 National Examinations, set to begin tomorrow.

Line Minister Aseri Radrodro indicated that updates will be provided promptly to ensure the safety of all students and staff involved.

He emphasized the importance of monitoring the situation, promising updates based on guidance from the National Disaster Management Office (NDMO).

Radrodro reminded parents and guardians to stay informed about weather updates and to take necessary precautions for their children’s safety.

The Ministry’s Disaster Risk Reduction team is actively watching the weather patterns.

Radrodro also called on Divisional and District officers to work with school leaders to ensure the security of schools and the safety of students.

School heads were advised to release students only to their parents or guardians when conditions are deemed safe.
