The Ministry of Health has announced that it is coordinating with the Water Authority of Fiji to refill the two 10,000-liter water tanks at Navua Hospital. This statement was issued in response to disruptions in the water supply affecting the hospital and surrounding communities.
In the meantime, bottled water is being supplied to patients, staff, and visitors at the hospital, and ambulatory patients are encouraged to bring their own drinking water to help supplement what is available. The Ministry is actively working with the Water Authority to restore the water supply to the hospital as quickly as possible.
