The Water Authority of Fiji has announced planned maintenance scheduled for next Tuesday, which involves the replacement of a DN300 valve along Naduru Road. Ongoing repair work on a leaking fire hydrant along Bau Road will lead to temporary disruptions in water supply.
Residents are advised to prepare by storing sufficient water in advance. The areas that will be affected include Naduru Road, Visama Feeder Road, Tumavia Village, Nauluvatu Village, Namuka Village, Vaturua Village, Naimalavau Village, Matainoco Village, Buretu Village, Daku Village, Naivakacau Village, Muana-i-Ra Village, Nasilai/Vadrai Village, and Kiuva Village.
