Korotogo Andhra Sangam Primary School in Nadroga has received a significant boost for its extra-curricular activities with a donation of $2,000 from the Warwick Fiji Resort.
School manager Ramesh Naidu expressed gratitude towards the resort for their assistance with the school’s maintenance project. He highlighted the importance of the donation for sponsoring participation in the scout’s jamboree and the mathematics competition, marking the team’s achievement of reaching the finals for the first time.
“We are very grateful because this will go a long way for the benefit of students,” said Mr. Naidu.
Nitin Goundar, the director of Human Resources at Warwick Fiji, stated that this contribution is part of their commitment to corporate social responsibility. The school currently has over 550 students enrolled.
Additionally, the school appreciates the support from the ‘Daughters of Charity’ for providing library books for the kindergarten. “We appreciate donations to our Andhra Kindergarten. It is all for the betterment of the students,” Mr. Naidu added.
