Warwick Fiji Resort Gives $2000 Boost to Local School’s Activities

Korotogo Andhra Sangam Primary School in Nadroga has received a significant boost for its extra-curricular activities with a $2000 donation from Warwick Fiji Resort.

School manager Ramesh Naidu expressed gratitude to the resort for its support in their maintenance project. He mentioned that this assistance allows the resort to reconnect with the community by providing funds for the sponsorship of the scouts’ jamboree and the mathematics competition team, which reached the finals for the first time.

Naidu stated, “We are very grateful because this will go a long way for the benefit of students.”

Nitin Goundar, the Warwick Fiji director of Human Resources, said the donation is part of the resort’s corporate social responsibility outreach program. The school currently serves over 550 students.

Additionally, the school expressed thanks to the ‘Daughters of Charity’ for supplying library books for the kindergarten. Naidu remarked, “We appreciate donations to our Andhra Kindergarten. It is all for the betterment of the students.”
