Korotogo Andhra Sangam Primary School in Nadroga has received a significant boost for its extra-curricular activities, thanks to a $2000 donation from the Warwick Fiji Resort.
School manager Ramesh Naidu expressed gratitude to the resort for their support in the school’s maintenance efforts. He noted that this assistance helps the school reconnect with the community and provides funding for the sponsorship of the scouts’ jamboree and the mathematics competition team, which recently reached the finals for the first time.
“This support will greatly benefit our students,” Mr. Naidu stated.
Nitin Goundar, the director of Human Resources at Warwick Fiji, highlighted that the donation is part of the resort’s corporate social responsibility program. The school currently has an enrollment of over 550 students.
Additionally, Mr. Naidu mentioned the school’s appreciation for the ‘Daughters of Charity’ for their generous donation of library books for the kindergarten program, emphasizing that all contributions are aimed at enhancing the educational experience for the students.
