Korotogo Andhra Sangam Primary School in Nadroga received a $2000 donation from the Warwick Fiji Resort to support their extra-curricular activities. The school manager, Ramesh Naidu, expressed gratitude towards the resort for aiding their maintenance project. He mentioned that the funds would help sponsor students attending the scout’s jamboree and a mathematics competition, in which they reached the finals for the first time.
Naidu highlighted the significance of the resort’s contribution, stating it would greatly benefit the students. Nitin Goundar, the director of Human Resources at Warwick Fiji, noted that the donation forms part of the resort’s corporate social responsibility outreach program. Currently, the school has more than 550 students enrolled.
Additionally, the school expressed appreciation for the ‘Daughters of Charity,’ who provided library books for their kindergarten program. Naidu acknowledged these donations, emphasizing their importance for enhancing the educational experience of the students.
