Korotogo Andhra Sangam Primary School in Nadroga has received a significant boost for its extra-curricular activities through a $2000 donation from Warwick Fiji Resort. School manager Ramesh Naidu expressed gratitude towards the resort for their support in a maintenance project.
Naidu highlighted the importance of this contribution, stating that it enables the school to fund participation in events such as the scouts’ jamboree and a mathematics competition where students reached the finals for the first time. He conveyed that the donation will greatly benefit the students.
Nitin Goundar, the director of Human Resources at Warwick Fiji, indicated that this donation is part of the resort’s corporate social responsibility outreach program. The school has an enrollment of over 550 students.
Additionally, the school is appreciative of the ‘Daughters of Charity’ for providing library books to their kindergarten, with Naidu emphasizing the positive impact of all donations on the children’s education.
