Korotogo Andhra Sangam Primary School in Nadroga has received a generous donation of $2000 from Warwick Fiji Resort, enhancing their extra-curricular activities. The school manager, Ramesh Naidu, expressed gratitude for the support, highlighting its significance for their maintenance project.
He stated, “The resort has found a way to reconnect with the community by helping fund the sponsorship of the scout’s jamboree as well as the mathematics competition team, which reached the finals for the first time.” Mr. Naidu emphasized the positive impact this donation will have on the students.
Nitin Goundar, director of Human Resources at Warwick Fiji, confirmed that this contribution is part of their corporate social responsibility outreach program. The school currently serves over 550 students.
Additionally, the school acknowledged the ‘Daughters of Charity’ for providing library books for their kindergarten. Mr. Naidu remarked, “We appreciate donations to our Andhra Kindergarten. It is all for the betterment of the students.”
