Korotogo Andhra Sangam Primary School in Nadroga has received a significant boost for its extracurricular activities thanks to a $2000 donation from Warwick Fiji Resort.
School manager Ramesh Naidu expressed gratitude to the resort for their support, particularly for helping with their maintenance project. He highlighted the importance of the donation, noting that it will aid the school in sponsoring the scout’s jamboree and support the mathematics competition team, which reached the finals for the first time.
“We are very grateful because this will go a long way for the benefit of students,” Mr. Naidu said.
Nitin Goundar, the director of Human Resources at Warwick Fiji, stated that the contribution is part of the resort’s corporate social responsibility outreach program. The school boasts an enrollment of over 550 students.
In addition, the school has thanked the ‘Daughters of Charity’ for providing library books to their kindergarten. Mr. Naidu emphasized their appreciation for the donations, saying, “It is all for the betterment of the students.”
