Saula Waqa showcased his exceptional skills by scoring twice, leading Lautoka to a 2-1 victory over the Samoan national team in a friendly match held at Churchill Park last night. Waqa’s impressive performance marked him as a formidable opponent for the Samoans, while also providing the Lautoka coaching staff with an opportunity to experiment with different lineups ahead of the 2024 FMF Inter District Championship, which is set to kick off at home next week.

In addition, Flick Hygiene Lautoka is scheduled to play another practice match this Sunday against the defending champions, Ba. For the IDC, Lautoka has been placed in a group with Labasa, Suva, and Navua, and will start its campaign against Navua at 6 PM on Tuesday.
