Wakaya Perfection is set to make a significant impact in the United States by securing a broadcasting slot on a prominent channel with access to over 900 million households. Established by the late David Gilmour, known for his role with Fiji Water, and business partner David Roth, Wakaya Perfection is dedicated to elevating the brand presence of Fiji both domestically and internationally.

David M. Roth, co-founder and CEO of the company, announced that Wakaya Perfection’s organic products will be featured on the Home Shopping Network (HSN). This influential television platform boasts a wide reach, accessible via cable, satellite, free-to-air, and digital streaming services. HSN primarily targets a demographic of women aged 25 to 66, with an average income exceeding $65,000.

Roth highlighted that the company specializes in organic Fijian products such as ginger and turmeric. In line with their mission, he and Gilmour envisioned developing Fiji’s agricultural sector by exporting high-quality, processed organic products, including kava and sea salt, to the global market.

In practical terms, this initiative stands to benefit local farmers significantly as Wakaya Perfection invests in both the agricultural and tourism sectors, facilitating premium pricing and technical assistance to support local agriculture. Roth envisions creating a unique niche for Fiji in supplying organic products to international consumers.

Through these efforts, Fiji has a promising opportunity to strengthen its agricultural export market and enhance its economic landscape, fostering a positive outlook for the island’s farmers and local communities.

As Wakaya Perfection embarks on this journey, it not only showcases the potential of Fiji’s products on the global stage but also empowers local farmers, creating a win-win situation that could lead to sustainable growth and development for the region.
