The Fiji Roads Authority has successfully completed the emergency restoration of the culvert on Waiyanitu Road. This project was initiated following a temporary closure that began on December 1 to ensure essential repairs could be carried out.
As a result of these efforts, the road is now fully operational, allowing residents and travelers to use it safely once again. The FRA has expressed its gratitude to the community for their patience and understanding throughout the repair process.
This completion marks an important step in maintaining road safety and infrastructure in Fiji, ensuring that travel and transport can continue without hindrance. The collaboration between local authorities and the public has demonstrated the power of community involvement in overcoming challenges, paving the way for more resilient infrastructure in the future.
