The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) has begun the search for a new Chief Executive Officer to replace Dr. Amit Chanan, who has decided not to renew his contract, which is set to expire in March 2025. Under Dr. Chanan’s leadership, the WAF achieved remarkable milestones, including the completion of the Viria Water Treatment Plant, one of the largest water infrastructure projects in the South Pacific. WAF is now seeking a candidate with over 10 years of senior management experience in engineering and technical fields related to water or wastewater projects.
