Two local businesses have come together to advocate for a cleaner and healthier Fiji. Vodafone Fiji and Waste Recyclers Fiji Limited have launched a new initiative called ‘I Recycle’, aimed at promoting cleanliness and sustainability in the region.

This initiative reflects Vodafone Fiji’s ongoing dedication to minimizing its environmental impact and encouraging responsible waste management practices. During the program’s launch at the company’s headquarters in Suva, Vodafone Fiji’s acting CEO, Rajnesh Prasad, emphasized the company’s commitment to creating a cleaner and healthier Fiji, starting from their own office in Tamavua.

“By collaborating with Waste Recyclers Fiji Limited, we are not only enhancing local waste management efforts but also nurturing a sense of responsibility and community spirit among our employees and customers,” Mr. Prasad stated.

Amitesh Deo, founder of the Pacific Recycling Foundation, noted that this program paves the way for more business participation in sustainable waste management, showcasing how collaborative efforts can lead to significant advancements for both the environment and society.
