Yogesh Karan has announced his resignation from his position as Permanent Secretary for Multi-Ethnic Affairs and Sugar Industry, effective 1 November 2024. Public Service Commission Chairman Luka Rokovada confirmed that Karan plans to pursue a career focusing on national and international development with an organization based in Fiji. Karan has dedicated over 20 years of service to the Fijian government in various senior roles, including his tenure as High Commissioner to India and as Permanent Secretary to the Office of the Prime Minister, as well as for Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Sugar Industry.
