Vasemaca Ratusaitadra, a recent graduate from the University of the South Pacific, shared an inspiring message during his graduation ceremony. He emphasized the importance of perseverance and self-belief in achieving one’s dreams.
Vasemaca, who hails from Nasegai, Ravitaki, Kadavu, began his studies in 2019 and has now earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management. His journey was marked by dedication and a strong sense of responsibility, which he credited to the support of his family and the hardships he faced during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite encountering challenges, such as not having a laptop for his studies and moments of self-doubt, Vasemaca remained steadfast. He encouraged his peers to maintain a strong work ethic and to draw strength from their faith.
He also acknowledged the support and encouragement from his family and urged his fellow graduates to be resilient and to remember the values instilled by their parents and mentors. Vasemaca’s story serves as a powerful example of overcoming adversity through hard work and determination.
