As the two staff unions at the University of the South Pacific (USP) begin their strike today, the University remains focused on providing support for its students. In an official statement, the University expressed its commitment to minimizing any disruptions to services. The strike is a result of concerns raised by the unions regarding matters that University management believes fall outside the boundaries of their collective contracts and employment conditions.
