The University of the South Pacific (USP) is facing a strike from its two staff unions starting today, but is focused on providing support for its students. The University has released a statement indicating that it will work to minimize any disruptions to its services during this period. The strike arises from a dispute concerning matters that University management believes fall outside the unions’ collective contracts and employment terms.
