An animal shelter in Wailoaloa has issued an urgent plea for assistance in locating individuals responsible for the appalling act of deliberately burning horses. The Horse Sanctuary revealed that a third victim was discovered today, intensifying concerns over the safety of animals in the area.

In a heartfelt message shared on social media, the Horse Sanctuary solicited the help of the community and authorities to track down the perpetrators responsible for these heinous acts. “Does anyone know who might be doing this? We need the authorities to help find the evil person that is doing this to horses,” the sanctuary stated, highlighting the urgent need for support.

In response to the situation, Animals Fiji has stepped in to provide medical care, including antibiotics and pain relief for a female horse victimized by these cruel actions. The sanctuary has announced that this horse will be transported to their facilities for further treatment the following morning.

The call for action resonates with animal lovers and advocates alike, reminding us of the importance of community vigilance and compassion in protecting vulnerable animals. It is hoped that with collective efforts, those responsible for such brutality will be brought to justice, ensuring a safer environment for all creatures.

This troubling incident not only highlights the need for increased awareness and intervention when it comes to animal cruelty but also brings to light the essential role that shelters and volunteer organizations play in healing and protecting these innocent lives. Together, the community can work towards eradicating such acts and fostering an environment of kindness and respect towards all animals.
