Nadi Head Coach Raj Dayal heads into the Battle of the Giants final with great optimism following their group stage win over Lautoka, hoping to replicate the result.
Despite the narrow 2-1 victory, Dayal emphasizes the importance of staying focused as Lautoka remains a formidable opponent.
“Coming into the semifinal, I was aware of the boys’ capabilities. I felt very blessed, although we faced some midfield challenges, which we managed to address effectively,” Dayal explained.
“We’re very confident with the team, and we’ll be concentrating on ball distribution and our game plan,” he added.
Dayal also urged fans to show up in large numbers to support the team.
“Your support means everything to us. Come and cheer on the boys; let’s make this final memorable,” he emotionally stated.
The grand final of the 2024 Rooster Chicken/Scoops Ice-Cream BOG between Flick Hygiene Lautoka and Smart and Efficient Security/Calgary Nadi will kick off at 3pm.
