As the FIFA World Cup qualifiers draw near, Fiji Bula Boys’ head coach, Rob Sherman, has expressed concerns regarding the uncertainties posed by recent coaching changes among their group opponents.
With Josh Smith and Felipe Vega-Arango taking on new coaching positions, Sherman noted that their play styles may be less predictable.
“There’s an element of the unknown because Josh and Felipe are new in their roles. Their previous strategies may not indicate how they’ll approach the upcoming matches. We’ve conducted our analysis, but there’s always a level of uncertainty when new coaches come into play,” Sherman stated.
Fiji is looking to leverage the support of a dedicated home crowd as they aim for a positive result in the next round of World Cup qualifiers.
