Residential land lots developed by the Housing Authority of Fiji (HA) in Covata, Labasa, are still available for purchase, with prices ranging from $70,000 to $130,000 for lot sizes between 250 and 600 square meters. This information was shared by HA as it called for expressions of interest (EOI) for the remaining 50 percent of its residential lots in Covata.
The Authority emphasized that this is an opportunity for individuals to secure their dream home in one of the country’s most dynamic and growing communities in the Northern Division. Ritesh Singh, the CEO of HA, noted that “these lots are conveniently located just 10 minutes from the Labasa district center and near essential amenities like schools and shops.”
Singh encouraged individuals planning to retire in Labasa, as well as young professionals at the start of their careers, to consider this investment opportunity to secure a lot and build a future home.
The site comes fully serviced with streetlights, footpaths, green spaces, water and sewer connections, and underground power supply.
To apply for a residential lot, applicants must be first-time homeowners, Fiji citizens, have an annual household income of $50,000 or below, be able to purchase the land and build a house, and must be 18 years or older.
Expressions of interest can be submitted online through the Authority’s Customer Portal, with all necessary documentation. The EOI period closes on Monday.
