The Fiji Institute of Chartered Accountants (FICA) is collaborating with the University of the South Pacific (USP) to host an executive workshop led by Professor Keith Houghton, an esteemed academic known for his innovative contributions to learning.

The workshop, titled “Evidence-Based Thinking,” aims to provide participants with essential insights and practical tools for critically evaluating information, making informed decisions, and tackling complex challenges.

FICA highlighted Professor Houghton’s impressive educational background, which includes degrees from the University of Western Australia, the University of Melbourne, and the London School of Economics and Political Science. They emphasized his extensive experience as the chief strategist of the Higher Education and Research Group (HERG), where he has successfully aided individuals and organizations in enhancing their decision-making processes.

Designed for executives and professionals responsible for significant decision-making, the workshop will engage participants through case studies. Attendees can expect to learn how to:
