Two Juveniles Charged in Multiple Rape Cases According to ODPP June Sexual Offences Statistics Report

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) has declared that two minors, a 15-year-old and a 13-year-old, are facing multiple charges for rape and attempted rape. According to the ODPP Rape and Sexual Offences Statistics released in June, the 15-year-old boy is accused of raping and attempting to rape a 5-year-old girl. Furthermore, the 13-year-old boy is charged with the sexual assault of a 12-year-old boy.

In addition to these cases, the report reveals that 15 individuals were charged with a total of 32 counts of sexual crimes in June. These charges encompass 21 counts of rape, two attempted rape, four indecent assaults, one defilement, and four sexual assaults. The report further indicated that among the 15 accused individuals, two were minors. Six instances involved victims and accused parties who were related.
