Triumphant Cadet Success: Natabua High School’s Inspiring Parade.

After weeks of rigorous cadet training, Natabua High School hosted its cadet passing-out parade on Friday.

Among the graduating cadets was deputy head girl and second in command, Nidhi Chaudhary, who displayed great resilience as she closely followed Parade Commander and head boy, Josefata Naisili. Nidhi played a crucial role in guiding 1276 cadets through drills and formations.

The school’s cadet training program received commendations for developing well-rounded students by combining academic excellence with leadership training and physical fitness, thereby equipping them with essential skills for future success.

“We spent six or seven hours a day out there, and the sun was relentless, but we persevered. Overall, it was very emotional towards the end because the experience was both physically and mentally exhausting. At the same time, it feels great to have accomplished it,” said Nidhi.

She expressed gratitude towards her family and classmates for their support.

Saleshni Chaudhary, Nidhi’s mother, was full of pride as she watched her daughter march during the parade.

“It was an emotional moment, but I’m extremely proud that she achieved the role of second in command. It was a proud moment for us as parents to see her complete her final march before moving on to tertiary education. Watching her lead and hold that position really showcased her character,” Ms. Chaudhary said.
