Tevita Kuruvakadua, the former Chief Executive of the Fiji Public Trustee Corporation, has passed away at the age of 51 after a brief illness. He died on August 13. Kuruvakadua began his role in April 2024 and led the Corporation until last month when he opted for early retirement. The FPTC released a statement highlighting that even though his time in leadership was short, he brought considerable knowledge, enthusiasm, and a new perspective that resonated with the staff. His contributions have made a significant impact on the organization, and his leadership will be remembered fondly. Kuruvakadua had a professional background in accounting and financial management. Funeral arrangements are expected to be announced soon.
