Tragic Drowning Incident Shocks Family During Mussel Diving Trip

A 58-year-old man reportedly drowned while diving for freshwater mussels with his family in the Nakadi River in Baulevu, Nausori, yesterday. The tragic event occurred shortly after 1 PM. When he was noticed missing, a search was initiated, and his body was eventually found floating a few meters downstream. Efforts to revive him were unsuccessful, and his body was transported to the Nausori Health Centre.
