A 58-year-old man reportedly drowned while diving for freshwater mussels with his family in the Nakadi River in Baulevu, Nausori, yesterday. The tragic event occurred shortly after 1 PM. When he was noticed missing, a search was initiated, and his body was located floating a few meters downstream. Despite efforts to revive him, he could not be saved, and his body was taken to the Nausori Health Centre.
