A police investigation is ongoing following the discovery of a deceased 60-year-old man in his home in Suva this morning. A report was filed at the Totogo Police Station by a colleague who had gone to check on the victim after multiple unsuccessful attempts to contact him. The colleague found the man lying motionless and immediately alerted the authorities. Officers from the Crime Scene Investigations Unit were dispatched to the location to carry out the initial stages of the investigation. Authorities are awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death as the investigation progresses.
