Police are currently investigating the death of a well-known chef found dead in his Suva home this morning. The 60-year-old man was discovered unresponsive by a colleague who had gone to check on him after being unable to reach him through multiple attempts.
The colleague immediately notified authorities upon finding the chef lying motionless. Officers from the Crime Scene Investigations Unit were dispatched to the location to initiate the investigation.
Authorities continue to explore the circumstances surrounding the chef’s death, pending results from the post-mortem examination to determine the cause.
