A 26-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman are facing manslaughter charges due to a failure in their duties as parents. The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions has accused the pair of neglecting to seek medical care for their 1-year and 6-month-old sick daughter, which ultimately led to her death.

In a separate case, a 25-year-old man has been charged with murdering his 59-year-old grandmother. He allegedly used a cane knife to strike her, resulting in her death.
