A 69-year-old man tragically passed away in Ba after suffering severe burns while attempting to extinguish a cane fire. Rang Nadan Naicker, from Navoli, was injured on September 3, according to his brother, Gopal Naicker. Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro stated that Mr. Naicker sustained his injuries while trying to control the blaze with a tractor. He was later admitted to the Ba Aspen Hospital Burns Ward, where he eventually succumbed to his injuries.
