A 26-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman have been charged with manslaughter due to a failure in their duty of care. The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions has filed charges against them for neglecting to seek medical attention for their 1-year and 6-month-old sick daughter, which ultimately led to her death.

In a separate case, a 25-year-old man has been charged with the murder of his 59-year-old grandmother. The accused is alleged to have fatally struck the victim with a cane knife.
