A woman lost her life following a car accident in Lautoka this morning.
According to the Fiji Police Force’s Director of Traffic, SSP Mitieli Divuana, the incident occurred around 8 a.m. when the woman was driving on M.N. Naidu Road. She reportedly lost control of her vehicle, which then swerved off the road and collided with a tree.
She was taken to Lautoka Hospital, where she was admitted but subsequently passed away.
SSP Divuana mentioned that a postmortem examination will be carried out to determine the cause of death.
