Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has arrived in Tonga for the 53rd Pacific Island Forum Leaders Meeting 2024, which commenced today. The meeting, themed “Transformative Resilient Pasifiki: Build Better Now,” is scheduled from August 26 to 30. The Government of Tonga is hosting the forum, and Tongan Prime Minister Hu’akavemeiliku Siaosi Sovaleni will preside over the discussions. Later today, Rabuka plans to engage with the Fijian community in Tonga.
