Here is your daily information update.

Today’s weather forecast indicates that a weak trough of low pressure is moving slowly to the east, just southwest of the country. Associated cloud and showers will impact the area until Monday, while a north to southerly wind flow continues over the Fiji group.

In general information, the Suva Tiger Kids program for children aged 6 to 12 will be held at 4 PM at the YMCA Gym. Additionally, the Premium’s run #2590 is scheduled for 5:30 PM at Carnegie St, Nauluvatu, off Reservoir Rd. The event Fiji will take place at Beqa Lagoon Resort.

The Electricity Fiji Limited (EFL) has announced planned power shutdowns for several areas:

– Nasova Road: 8 AM to 5 PM. Affected areas include the whole of Nasova Road, Nasova Police Barracks, and Fiji Police Forensic Science Services.

– Namena Village, Korovou: 8 AM to 5 PM. The entire village will be affected.

– Wainivoce: 8:30 AM to 4 PM. Affected areas include Wainivoce Settlement and Village.

– Labasa: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The outage will affect Vesidrua Village.

– Saweni, Lautoka: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Affected locations include Saweni Tramline Road, part of Saweni Loop Road, and several shops and eateries in the area.

– Momi: 9 AM to 4:30 PM. Areas impacted include Namata Vodafone Site, Digicel Vodafone Site, and Namata Settlement.

– Namotomoto: 9 AM to 4:30 PM. Affected areas include Namotomoto Village, Navoci Village, part of Queens Road, and various local shops.

For entertainment, “Harold and the Purple Crayon” will be screened today at several locations: 3:55 PM and 6:50 PM at Life Cinemas Nakasi; 1:40 PM at Life Cinemas Labasa; 3:40 PM at Life Cinemas Lautoka; and 1:20 PM and 6:35 PM at Life Cinemas Nadi.
